Zionsville Community High School (ZCHS) is an academically competitive public high school located in a suburb of Indianapolis, Indiana. The curriculum presents a rigorous challenge to the college bound student. Following graduation, 90 percent of ZCHS students go on to enroll in a four-year university and six percent enroll in two-year colleges.
ZCHS offers 25 AP courses. Approximately 78 percent of the student body enrolls in one or more AP courses. Last year, 49 percent of ZCHS students scored four or higher on AP exams, and 81 percent scored three or higher.
In conjunction with the J. Everett Light Career Center, ZCHS students may take courses directly connected with a vocational interest. A majority of these courses are college preparatory level and demand a high level of technological expertise.
Zionsville Community High School offers a variety of co-curricular and extracurricular activities for students to explore their talents and interests.
ZCHS has been named a U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School.
