Bellevue High School (BHS) is a comprehensive four-year public high school in Bellevue, Washington, enrolling students in grades nine through twelve. Located in a mid-sized city setting, Bellevue serves a student population with 48 percent minority students, 12 percent economically disadvantaged students, and 27 percent ESL (English as a Second Language) students.
Bellevue High School offers the Eastside Native American Education Program, a federally funded initiative to assist Native American, Alaskan Native, and American Indian students through programs that offer them the opportunity to succeed academically while also enriching their cultural lives.
Graduation requirements are based on a set of traditional course requirements including core subjects and career and technical education courses. Advanced Placement courses are available to all students seeking college preparatory experiences. 77 percent of students take the AP exam with 85 percent receiving scores of three or higher.
Bellevue High School is a member of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA).
